+Avenir Endowment Fund, recognized as a public utility, serves people who encounter life accidents (grief, illness, accident, separation, etc.) to prevent them from falling into a spiral of exclusion.
The Fund offers to coordinate administrative, legal, and psychological support and grant interest-free and unsecured financial advances. +Avenir Endowment Fund exclusively supports people in difficulty, presented and recommended by a Sponsor.
The need
The +Avenir app was created some time ago and, for various reasons, the project was eventually taken over by the Toulouse agency Dev-Id. Due to some maintenance issues before Dev-Id took over, the primary need was essentially focused on some codebase refactoring and intense debugging.
My work
During my mission, I actively worked alongside the technical team to support the app's debugging. It needed major React-Native updates, and the issues related to this update required all my attention.
Debug
My main mission was to debug the app. By combining my experience and intensive work sessions, blocking issues were quickly resolved, allowing the team to make decisions regarding the project management.
Refactor
To ensure effective debugging, it was sometimes necessary to overhaul large parts of the code occasionally. This isolated existing bugs and optimized the code.
